Can you grow roses from seeds?
My neighbor has some rose bushes right along the sidewalk. Is it practical to collect a few fruits and plant the seeds?

If they are hybrids teas probably not. They are infertile. If they produce rose hips with seeds give it a try.

No. They might germinate but you might wait 15 years for them to flower
The Rosa Glauca I began with has seeded around my yard. They get bright red colorful hips. Let the hips develop and you should be able to collect seeds. There should be many types you can collect seed from. Hybrids might not work. Or they won’t turn out true.
from seed you’ll likely not get the same roses…. why not ask for a few cuttings and grow one that way?…..spring cuttings will root best….from new branches that did NOT bloom….
